I love a good dress. In fact one of my new year’s resolutions is to wear more dresses. I think a nice dress adds add a little extra sass to your day. And let’s face it we moms deserve a bit of additional sass.
When I found this great line of women’s clothing called Shabby Apple, started by two women named Emily and CK, I was very happy indeed. They have a great mantra when it comes to dresses:
“Shabby Apple is proud to offer you fantastic dresses that allow you to look fabulous, without having to compromise anything else. [It's a] return to what dresses were always meant to be–a one-piece outfit. No need to add anything… no tank tops, no cardigans, nothing (except accessories, of course!)”
And then I found out they did dresses for girls too. And dresses that are actually rather affordable compared to many sites out there! Sweet!
I love their use of ruffles–the collar is genius and the skirt part of the dress is just too yummy for words…
Oh and then there is this fancy ruffle down the front of the dress and ruffle sleeves–I love this color combo and the print is just kapow!
Who doesn’t love a pocket–whether a kangaroo style or two separate pockets up front. So cozy!
I gotta say, I love the sassy little model just as much as the dress in this photo. Oh, and cowboy boots. Note to self–buy cowboy boots for the Peach…
But before we leave Shabby Apple, I must share this delicious find with you now before Halloween sneaks up on us… They do costumes! Any girl worth their salt wants a princess outfit, right?
I’ll take two of everything, please!

I know! I love the color choices. Particularly the one with the blue ruffles down the front.
